Canvas Wraps

I have a new love . . . Canvas Wraps! They are so wonderful! I was so excited to get this one last week. It is quite large, 20 x17 and makes me smile every time I see it. I purchased it as a sample to show customers, what a good reason for me!

TEXTURE! I LOVE texture! I really do . . . there are so many possibilities with it and it can be so fun to layer them on top of one another. Then, just moving the layers around changes everything as well. I'm still learning a lot about them, and having so much fun in the process.

Toys!!!!

Yay for me! I got some to "toys" . . . some textures! They are a lot of fun. I got them from Florablella. For those of you who do not know, textures add a little bit of, well, you guessed it, texture to your photo. They also add depth and can aid in emphasizing the mood of a picture. I was only able to "play" around with them a little bit, but I love them. Here are a few different takes on the same picture.

i {heart} faces . . . best face forward

It's birthday time over at i {heart} faces! Happy 1st Birthday! This week's theme is "best face forward" and has to be a picture taken with the month of January 2010 or December 1009. Here is one of the precious little faces in our house. I took this today, January 10th, 2010, while she was playing with her "ponies". Her big brown eyes just melt my heart and her sweet smile is icing on the cake!
