looking for light

Where is the light?  Although we live in Florida, I am having the most difficult time finding good light. Our house, probably to make it more energy efficient (easier to coo), has terrible light inside.  So, I am always trying different rooms at different times of the day.  Our daughters' room (although mostly pink) has the best light!  It also has the only south-facing window.  Each of these pictures was taken at the same time of day, but processed differently.
added radial light with a white foreground and Kim Klassen's Sibil Texture once on "soft light" at 50% and once on "mulitply" at about 30%

I would love to hear what you think!

Enjoy!

outside-in

Our challenge this week was to bring the inside . . . out!

Not sure if this technically qualifies, but all of these things were inside at one time  :)

❤❤❤ Happy Valentine's Day ❤❤❤

I just finished making our children's Valentines for school.  And I would LOVE to share them with you!  If you would like the template, leave a comment below and I will email it to you.
The template will make two 2.5"x 3.5" flat cards and one 2.5" x 3.5" folded card.  All you have to do is change the name for your child(ren).  All the layers are completely changeable, so feel free to change colors or fonts.  The "V" is for the boys and the "heart" is for the girlie girls : )

I am printing this on 5x7"linen card stock and then cutting them to their proper sizes.  Afterward, I will punch wholes in them (one at the top and one at the bottom) and run a red and white lollipop through the wholes.  We will give it the finishing touch with a red ribbon.  I'll try to get pictures of the finished product up in a few days for all of us visual learners!

Satisfying . . .

2nd day, week 2 of challenge.  I have a lot more to learn in both life and photography, but one thing I know to be true:
