Happy First Birthday!

Oh, how I adore taking little kids' photos and this handsome little guy was no exception.  I DO have to admit that he was a very busy little guy and literally scooted all over the place!  I wish that I could have captured it; it was adorable!  The cake was too funny and did not go the way either mommy or I expected, but adorable, non-the-less.

I {heart} faces . . . dramatic black-and-white

The theme this week at i {heart} faces is dramatic black-and-white.  This little girl LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her little bengal tiger.  She has named the tiger Kayda and takes her EVERYWHERE!  This is not a posed picture, but a true portrait of love.

And he was . . . Kung Fu Fighting!

For me, one of my favorite parts of being a photographer is my return clients! I just adore getting to know people and then seeing them grow and change and know their personalities so that I can capture the their true nature. This little guy went to kindergarten with our oldest son. Now, I'm taking his 8 year pictures! Needless to say, with our three kids in the shadows, he had plenty of entertainment during our photo-shoot. My favorite are of him showing me his kung fu moves. He is pretty good, don't you think?

Sweet Baby!

What a privilege for me! First I got to photograph this sweet little baby's mommy when this little princess was IN her mommy's belly. Then, I got to photograph her on the outside!

Is she adorable, or what! Totally worth the 9 months of waiting : )
